ONLY 1,5 WEEKS TO GO!!!!
Most of the important things for our trip are taken care of.
We are still waiting for 2 pretty important papers (Carnet de
Passage and some insurance papers) but hey, we manage to stay
calm, grinn.
Because we don't know when we will arrive in de United Arab Emirates,
we've decided to try the council in Iran for a visum. If our natural
charm doesn't work, maybe we can persue him with some typical Dutch
"give-a-ways"(hmm, wonder if he could walk on wooden shoes) :-)
And if that doesn't do the trick, we can always book a hotel room and
let them arrange a visum for us.
We're almost ready with cleaning our house. Ironic, our house
has never been so clean before, and now we're leaving and we can't
enjoy it :-)
Our plants have found new caretakers (thanks Ard & Marlous!), our
cats too (thanks Cor & Gonnie and Emily), so our house is starting
to get empty.
At Arno's work, things are coming slowly to an end. At Janine's work,
well, what can we say. Murphy strikes again!!!
Hmm, think I'll need a vacation.
